Since I was a child I have had this fascination over gloves (especially the leather ones) nothing creepy or frivolous about that (I hope). But it was not until I experienced my first winter did I fully appreciate the beauty of a pair of gloves especially when I started wearing them to cover my hands from the biting cold. I observed however that yes my hands may feel warmer but I could hardly have my pair of hands function naturally under its cover. Imagine with me if you will trying to open a wallet wearing a pair of gloves and taking a dollar bill from it if you don't find it as difficult a task vis a vis to how easy it is when taking off the gloves and performing the same task.

Dude,
The discomforts in this place constantly reminds me I'm not from here - every mistake, of perfection - every sadness, of joy unending - every heartache, of complete healing - every groping, of Light eternal. I've never been there before, but I miss it so much.
Homesick
When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun.
Than when we first begun.
-- John Newton
I'm finding my way home.
